The Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3 is one of the best contract airport lounges we have visited in the UK and feels like a real step up from the usual crowded pay-to-use lounge scene that you get at UK airports. It is marketed as a more premium option than the standard lounges at Heathrow Terminal 3, and in this case the higher price really does feel justified thanks to the calm atmosphere, attentive waiter service, and freshly prepared food.
The biggest strength of the Clubrooms Heathrow Terminal 3 is that it actually delivers a much more upmarket and exclusive experience than the No1 Traveller Lounge next door. With stylish interiors, table service, delicious cocktails, and a much quieter atmosphere, this lounge gives off a boutique hotel vibe!

Location and access at the Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3
The Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3 is located air side after security. Follow signs for Lounge F near gates 13 to 22. The lounge is located to the right of the No1 Traveller Lounge.
The lounge is open daily from 5AM to 9PM.
Access can be purchased through Lounge Pass for £52, or you can use a standard Priority Pass visit and then pay an additional £15 per guest on entry.
To be honest, that extra £15 feels very fair. In many UK lounges during busy periods, we are already paying around £6 just to reserve a slot, and the uplift in quality here is so noticeable that the extra charge is absolutely worth it.
Children under the age of 12 are not admitted.

Check-in experience
Check in was straightforward, and from the moment we entered it was immediately obvious that this was a very different atmosphere from the lounge next door.
What stood out most was how much quieter the Clubrooms felt compared to the No1 Traveller Lounge. There were only a handful of guests during our visit, which made the whole experience feel calm, exclusive, and properly relaxing.
Ambiance and seating
The ambiance is one of the best things about the Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3. The lounge is fairly large and has a warm, homely feel that is very different from the more functional design you often find in airport lounges.
The main seating area is made up largely of armchairs, with slightly dim lighting and even a fake fireplace, which gives the space a kind of warm English cottage feel. It is cosy, comfortable, and really well suited to relaxing before a flight.
There is also a separate larger room with much brighter lighting and a beautiful tree in the middle, which gives that part of the lounge a much more open and natural feel. Between the two spaces, the lounge manages to feel both intimate and spacious at the same time.
There are plenty of windows with tarmac views, which help keep the lounge feeling bright and connected to the airport environment, and there are also two bars.
Overall, this is a very well designed lounge and one that gets the balance right between comfort, style, and spaciousness.
Food and drinks at the Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3
The food and drink offering is where Clubrooms really separates itself from most UK contract lounges.
Instead of a standard buffet being left out for hours, there are menus on the table with a strong selection of freshly prepared food, including starters, mains, and desserts. This immediately gives the lounge a much more premium and restaurant style feel.
There was also an impressive complimentary cocktail list, with options including an Aperol Spritz, Kir Royale, and Old Fashioned. That is far beyond the usual lounge standard and adds a real sense of occasion to the experience. The pear bellini was especially good and felt like a genuinely premium drink rather than just a basic lounge cocktail.
The waiter service was excellent throughout. Staff were polite, friendly, attentive, and made a real effort to chat, which added a lovely personal touch. The service felt warm rather than formal, and it really elevated the whole lounge experience.
There is also a self-serve snack bar with fresh fruit, salad, cakes, nuts, crisps, and olives, which is ideal if you want something small while waiting for your ordered food to arrive.
For food, the wild mushrooms on sourdough made for an excellent starter, while the roasted chicken breast with mashed potatoes and green beans was genuinely delicious. It was clearly much fresher and better prepared than the buffet style food offered in many other UK lounges, including the No1 Traveller and My Lounge options nearby.
The only disappointment on the drinks side was that Champagne was not included and came at an additional charge. That does feel a little mean given that the lounge already carries an extra fee, and complimentary Champagne would have made the experience feel even more complete.

Wi-Fi and amenities at the Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3
Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and worked well during the visit.
The toilets were another strong point. They were clean, stylish, and felt more like premium hotel bathrooms than standard airport lounge facilities.
The main missing feature is showers. For a lounge that is marketed as a premium product and charges more than the standard alternatives, shower facilities would have been a very welcome addition.

The Clubrooms London Heathrow Terminal 3 is absolutely worth the extra charge and is one of the few UK airport lounges that feels remarkably better than the standard contract lounge experience.
The quieter atmosphere, attractive interiors, strong cocktail list, excellent waiter service, and freshly prepared food all help create a much more premium pre-flight experience. It feels far more like an upmarket restaurant and lounge than a typical busy airport waiting area with a buffet.
While it would be even better with shower facilities and complimentary Champagne, those are relatively minor criticisms in what is otherwise a superb lounge. If the choice is between paying a little extra for the Clubrooms or sitting in the busier No1 Traveller next door, we would choose the Clubrooms every time!
