Lomond Lounge Glasgow Airport is marketed as a more premium option compared to the standard UpperDeck Lounge. It is open daily from 4:45 AM until 5 PM. The lounge is located airside, just after Security past the Burger King. The facility be accessed via the stairs or by taking the lift opposite.

Seating, Views, and Atmosphere
Firstly, I was welcomed by a lovely chap called Mark. He checked me in and guided me to my seat and explained the food and drinks on offer. This personalised experience really did make the place feel more premium and put the whole check-in experience way above any contract lounge that I have been to.
The lounge feels bright and welcoming thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows, which flood the space with natural light and provide fantastic views over the gates and the surrounding hills. This made for an excellent plane-spotting afternoon!
The lounge is relatively large and is divided into several sections, including a buffet area, armchair seating, a TV lounge, and bar stools at the counter for those who prefer a more sociable setup. I always find bar seating a nice touch, especially for solo travellers.

Food and Drink
While there was no table service, everything was self-serve and the quality was excellent. Hot options included curry, pasta, and macaroni cheese, all of which were fresh and full of flavour. The cold selection featured salads, cold sandwiches, and a generous cheese offering, which were also very tasty.
The bar was not self-serve, but the barman was extremely friendly, and the bar area itself was impressive. A wide range of spirits, wines, and soft drinks were available, but the standout was that Champagne was included. This is something I have never encountered in a UK contract lounge before.
Facilities and Amenities at the Lomond Lounge Glasgow Airport
There are no shower facilities, but the toilets were spotless and well maintained throughout my visit. Free Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, and plenty of charging points were available around the lounge.

- Spacious lounge layout with multiple seating zones and very quiet when I was there

The Lomond Lounge at Glasgow Airport is one of the most memorable contract lounge experiences I have had in the UK. Whether paying the £16 surcharge on a lounge membership or the £37 entry fee, this lounge delivers a premium experience that is well worth it.
