Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport Date of Visit: February 2025 (Last updated May 2026)
Time: Mid-Afternoon (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
The Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport is a Priority Pass and paid access airport lounge at Phuket International Airport (HKT), located airside on the 4th floor near Gate 10. This Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport review covers the location, access rules, £27 paid entry option, seating, food, drinks, Wi-Fi, power sockets, toilet situation, shower facilities and whether it is worth visiting before a flight from Phuket.
During this mid-afternoon visit, the food was the clear highlight, with hot dishes, sushi, pastries, cakes and tropical fruit. However, the lounge felt cramped and noisy, the free alcohol selection was limited, there were no showers, and the lack of toilets inside the lounge made the experience less convenient.

Check-In Experience
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The receptionist greeted us warmly and promptly scanned our Priority Pass cards before directing us to the lounge. Despite the lounge being moderately busy, the process was quick and hassle-free, and we were able to settle in without delay.
Seating, Space and Atmosphere
The first thing to mention about this lounge is that it is very small and very cramped, with seats being very close to each other. The seats were mainly armchairs and café style seating. The lounge felt pretty chaotic, as it was packed and certainly not helped by a kid endlessly screaming. The lounge had large windows, although sadly looked out onto the mezzanine, so there was a lack of natural light.

Food and Drinks at the Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport
The food and drink options were the highlight of the Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport. For a mid-afternoon visit, with a tasty mix of hot and cold offerings:
- Hot items: A barbeque chicken hot pot with potato wedges was a delicious option in which I had to go up for seconds. There were also noodles and stir-fried fish with rice dish. The spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce were particularly tasty.
- Cold items: Fresh sushi, pastries, cakes (the banana muffins being a standout) and tropical fruits (pineapple, mango and dragonfruit) were all available in a self-serve format.
- Drinks: Self-serve coffee machines, a selection of teas, juices, and soft drinks were available. There was also a bar where you could order alcoholic drinks although this was limited to Chang beer (local Thai beer) and house wine. There was a menu for upgraded drinks e.g. Sparkling wine and cocktails which were all a hefty extra.
Overall, the food options were of a high quality and the buffet area was always kept clean and well-stocked by the excellent staff. However, the lack of complimentary drinks options was a minor disappointment.

Wi-Fi and Power Sockets
The lounge provides free Wi-Fi, which was working fine throughout our visit. Power outlets are readily available around the lounge making it easy for travellers needing to charge devices. There were no standout amenities such as showers as this was a very small lounge. A slight annoyance to mention is that the lounge did not offer their own toilet facilities, meaning you would have to exit the lounge and then walk around the queue outside to re-enter. The toilets just outside the lounge were sadly a little grotty.

Does The Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport Have Toilets Or Showers?
The Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport does not have showers and does not have its own toilets inside the lounge. To use the bathroom, you need to leave the lounge and use the airport toilets nearby, then re-enter afterwards.
This is one of the main weaknesses of the lounge. It is manageable for a short visit, but it makes the lounge less convenient than it could be, especially if there is a queue outside.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- A delicious selection of hot and cold food including spring rolls, chicken hot pot, stir fry noodles and fresh pastries/cakes.
- Lots of charging ports and working Wi-Fi.
Cons
- Was very busy for such a small lounge, creating quite a cramped and noisy atmosphere, not aided by the lack of natural light/runway views.
- Not offering their own toilets was slightly inconvenient when having to exit the lounge to use the grotty lounges next door.
Final Verdict: Is The Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport Worth It?
The Coral Executive Lounge Phuket Airport is a pretty mediocre lounge overall. While the food options were delicious, the limited free drink options, no toilet facilities and a noisy atmosphere make this a relatively average lounge option. If you have free lounge passes and are very hungry then this lounge is totally fine.
