The No1 Lounge Luton Airport ranks second, but it is still worth considering if drinks are your priority. This is a compact airside lounge with polite staff, a well-stocked bar, Wi-Fi, charging points, and a controlled entry system designed to stop the lounge from becoming overcrowded.
During our evening visit, we had to wait around 30 minutes after joining a virtual queue. This was not ideal when arriving at the lounge expecting to go straight in, but once we were inside, the system did help the lounge feel more organised. Guests were shown to clean, allocated seats rather than left to find space themselves.

Food and drinks:
The drinks are the main reason to choose the No1 Lounge Luton Airport over My Lounge. During our visit, Prosecco, rosé Prosecco, most spirits, Birra Moretti on tap, soft drinks, and spa water were included. Champagne was available at an extra cost.
The food was less impressive. Hot options included beef stew, tomato pasta, Brussels sprouts, and shredded Mediterranean chicken with peppers and onions. The Mediterranean chicken was the strongest dish we tried, but the overall food setup felt more basic than My Lounge.
There were also bread rolls, bread, cheese, salad, apples, shortbread pieces, and blueberry muffins. Staff were quick to replenish food and clear plates, which helped keep the buffet area tidy.
Seating and comfort:
The No1 Lounge is smaller than My Lounge. Seating is mostly made up of armchairs, with a larger sofa area in the corner and a small workstation with three high-stool seats.
The main weakness is the table setup. Many of the tables are small and low down, which makes the lounge less useful for working or eating. It is fine for relaxing before a flight, but not the strongest choice if you want to use a laptop.
The lounge is also quite dark, with only a small window and restricted views. If you prefer bright airport lounges with runway views, this is not one of Luton Airport’s stronger options.

Food and drinks:
Food is the main reason My Lounge ranks first. The standout feature during our visit was the make-your-own gyros station, with warm wraps, garlic chips, chicken, Mediterranean vegetables, garlic mayo, and salads.
This made the food setup feel more interesting than the standard airport lounge buffet. The chicken, warm wraps, garlic chips, and Mediterranean vegetables worked well together, and the concept gave the lounge a more memorable food identity than the No1 Lounge.
There was also tomato soup, tomato penne pasta, a pancake-making station, fresh oranges, and biscuits. The choice was not huge, but the gyros station was the best food feature across the two Luton lounges we reviewed.
The drinks were less impressive. Birra Moretti on tap was available, along with house red wine, house white wine, rosé, soft drinks, and lemon spa water. However, Prosecco, sparkling wine, and Champagne cost extra during our visit, which made the bar feel less generous than the No1 Lounge.
Seating and comfort:
My Lounge Luton Airport is much larger than the No1 Lounge. There are armchairs, high-stool areas, café-style seating, and a quieter living room-style section tucked away at the back on the right-hand side of the lounge.
This back section was probably the best place to sit if you wanted a calmer space before your flight. The lounge also had light background music, plants, airport code decor on the walls, and a small games room area with table football.
The main drawbacks were the lack of natural light and the temperature. There are floor-to-ceiling windows, but these overlook the terminal departures area rather than the runway or apron. During our evening visit, the lounge also felt warm and stuffy.
