The ANA Lounge Porto Airport is a reasonable airport lounge at Porto Airport, with friendly staff, comfortable seating, easy Wi-Fi, and a pleasant mezzanine-style seating area overlooking the departure concourse. During this evening visit, the lounge was reasonably busy without feeling too overcrowded, and the check-in process was quick and straightforward.
The biggest strengths of the lounge are the polite staff, useful work booths, the plenty of charging ports and decent self-serve drinks selection. However, the lounge is held back by limited food, no showers, no toilets inside the lounge, no bar area, no Champagne or Prosecco, and very few premium touches. Overall, this is a passable contract lounge, but not a lounge worth arriving especially early for.

Check-in Experience
Check-in at the ANA Lounge Porto was very quick and easy. There was only one person ahead at reception, and the staff were friendly, smiley, and welcoming.
Entry was handled by scanning a Priority Pass card and boarding pass, and the whole process took less than a minute. For a reasonably busy evening period between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, the arrival experience was smooth and efficient.
Seating and Ambience at the ANA Lounge Porto Airport
The ANA Lounge Porto was reasonably busy during this evening visit, but it never felt crazily overcrowded. There were enough seating options available, including armchairs, a small restaurant-style seating area, and quieter spaces around the back of the lounge.
The lounge does not offer much in the way of runway or tarmac views, and some parts of the space felt quite dark. However, the armchair seating area overlooking the departure concourse from the mezzanine level felt brighter, airier, and more open.
We actually quite liked the decor and there were plants dotted around the lounge, which helped give the space a fresher feel. The design is not especially luxurious, but it is clean, calm, and fairly pleasant for a short pre-flight visit.
One of the best features was the set of soundproof work booths around the back of the lounge. These would be useful for anyone needing to take a work call or get some quiet work done before a flight.
Food and Drink
The food and drink selection at the ANA Lounge Porto was okay, but nothing particularly memorable.
The main hot option was soup, but beyond this the food was mostly cold. There were cold sandwiches, samosas, salad, and a selection of Portuguese pastries. The pastries were one of the better parts of the food offering, especially the Croquete de Carne and Pasteis de Nata, both of which were tasty.
However, the overall food selection felt limited. For an evening visit, the lack of more substantial hot food was a tad disappointing
Drinks were available in a self-serve format. There were plenty of juices and soft drinks, along with Portuguese wines, port, and Super Bock beer. The Super Bock was a good addition as it was great to try a local lager!
There was no Champagne or Prosecco available, and the spirits selection was fairly basic. Rum, vodka, and gin were available, along with lemon and ice, so there was enough to make a simple pre-flight gin and tonic. Still, the drinks setup did not blow us away.
There was no staffed bar or bar seating area, which was slightly disappointing. Coffee machines were also self-serve. Overall, the drinks selection was acceptable, but the lack of premium spirits, sparkling wine, and bar service stops the lounge from being overly lavish.
Wi-Fi and Amenities at the ANA Lounge Porto Airport
The Wi-Fi at the ANA Lounge Porto was easy to connect to and worked well during this visit. There were also plenty of charging points, especially around the armchair seating areas.
The departure board inside the lounge was a helpful feature, allowing passengers to keep an eye on flight information without needing to leave the lounge.
There were no shower facilities and no notable extra amenities. The biggest disappointment was the lack of toilets inside the lounge. The nearest toilets were just outside and were not very busy, partly because they are tucked away from the main departure gates. Even so, having to leave the lounge for the toilet is inconvenient and does bring the overall experience down.
The staff were very good at clearing plates and keeping the lounge tidy, which helped the space feel clean throughout the visit.

The ANA Lounge Porto Airport is worth visiting if access is included through Priority Pass or another lounge membership, but it is not a lounge worth paying a high entry fee for. The staff were friendly, the lounge was tidy, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the seating was comfortable enough for a short pre-flight stay.
The mezzanine seating area overlooking the departure concourse was pleasant, and the soundproof work booths were a useful addition. The Portuguese pastries, port, Super Bock, and self-serve drinks helped make the offering feel acceptable.
However, the lounge is clearly held back by the lack of toilets inside, limited hot food, no showers, no bar, no Champagne or prosecco, and a fairly basic overall food and drink setup. It is a reasonable lounge for a quiet drink, a snack, and some time away from the main terminal, but it does not feel especially premium.
