Ahlan Lounge Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse B Date of Visit: December 2025
Time: 8AM – 11AM
Ahlan Lounge Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse B is a modern contract lounge at Dubai International Airport (DXB), popular with transit passengers who want a proper meal, a shower, and a calmer space before their next flight. I visited in December 2025 from 8AM to 11AM and found a surprisingly strong self serve buffet, a well stocked staffed bar, and excellent massage chairs. The main downside is the complete lack of natural light, plus no Champagne, but overall it is a very solid option if you have Priority Pass or want to pay for entry. We visited the lounge before our Emirates economy flight. You can read this review here.

First Impressions, Seating and Atmosphere
The Ahlan Lounge Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse B made a strong first impression. The space felt bright, modern and well maintained, despite the absence of natural light or runway views. While there are no windows, the lighting is well designed and prevents the lounge from feeling dark or enclosed.
The lounge was relatively busy during my visit, but it never felt chaotic or overcrowded. Seating is spaced out well, and the overall atmosphere remained calm and pretty quiet.
There was a good mix of armchairs, café style seating and several extremely comfortable massage chairs. Given that I had arrived from Phuket and had another long flight ahead back to London, these massage chairs were a real highlight and were fun to chill on for 20 minutes or so.

Food and Drinks at the Ahlan Lounge Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse B
Food at the Ahlan Lounge Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse B is offered in a self serve format and the selection was impressively large. Hot dishes included a wide variety of curries, fried rice, butter chicken, lentil soup, stir fries, pasta dishes, samosas and spaghetti bolognese. Everything I tried was fresh and tasty, which was particularly welcome for a contract lounge.
Cold options were equally strong, with a large range of sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants, biscuits and a selection of cakes and desserts. The variety on offer meant you could easily eat a full meal rather than just snack before a flight.
The bar was staffed and well stocked. There was a proper barista coffee machine which produced an excellent americano, far better than the standard self-serve machines found in many lounges. Alcoholic options included bottled beers such as Budweiser and Carlsberg, Italian sparkling wine, and a solid range of spirits including Gordon’s gin, Jameson whiskey, Grouse whiskey, Absolut vodka, Bacardi rum, Captain Morgan spiced rum, Kahlua coffee liqueur, Martini Dry and Martell VS brandy. Champagne was not available, but the overall drinks selection was still pretty extensive. The usual soft drinks and juices were also available.

Showers, WiFi and Facilities
The Ahlan Lounge Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse B is very well equipped for transit passengers. Showers are available and were well maintained during my visit. This was ideal for freshening up between my long haul flights. There is also a prayer room and a smoking room within the lounge.
For those needing to work, a business centre is available, offering a quieter environment away from the main seating areas. Complimentary newspapers were also laid out throughout the lounge.
Spa services were available, although these came at an additional charge which I did not end up trying out. Wi Fi was free and worked reliably throughout my stay.
LoungePass – No membership needed. Pre-book the Ahlan lounge for £35 per person. After clicking, search for the airport to check availability and book your lounge spot.
