During our morning visit, the lounge was calm, bright and attractively decorated, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, plenty of greenery and a surprisingly extensive food selection for a domestic lounge. The complimentary 15-minute shoulder massage is a particularly impressive perk, while the friendly staff and £22 (USD 29) entry price add further value. However, the cramped seating, lack of toilets inside the lounge and shortage of charging ports prevent it from scoring higher.

Check-In Experience
The entrance to The Coral Executive Lounge made a particularly strong first impression.
The reception area was attractively presented, with The Coral branding displayed prominently behind the desk. Two large branded plant pots positioned on either side of the entrance added to the polished appearance and fitted nicely with the greenery found throughout the lounge itself.
There was no queue when we arrived for our 8AM to 10AM visit. The reception staff were also friendly, smiley and efficient. After scanning our Priority Pass cards and boarding passes, we were checked in and inside the lounge within a couple of minutes.

Seating and Atmosphere
The Coral Executive Lounge is not particularly large, but its design helps make the space feel considerably more open than its actual footprint suggests.
One reason for this is that the lounge does not have a conventional enclosed ceiling and instead remains open to the main terminal above. Combined with the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows running alongside the lounge, this allows plenty of natural light into the space and creates a bright atmosphere.
There is also a considerable amount of greenery throughout the lounge. Plants, flowers and even a couple of small trees help soften the interior and give the space a pleasant, natural feel.
The main weakness is the seating layout. There is a mixture of sofas, armchairs and restaurant-style dining tables, providing reasonable variety depending on whether you want to relax or eat. However, the seating is positioned fairly close together and the lounge can feel cramped as a result. There were not too many passengers inside during our morning visit, but because the overall seating area is relatively small, it began filling up fairly quickly.
Views and Natural Light
One of the lounge’s most visually impressive features is its huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which bring an enormous amount of natural light into the space and help make the lounge feel far brighter and more open.
Surprisingly, however, the windows do not provide runway or apron views. Instead, the lounge overlooks a lush green garden area. Although aircraft views would have been preferable, the greenery still provides a pleasant outlook and works particularly well with the plants, flowers and trees found inside the lounge.
Overall, it is a visually attractive space, even if plane spotters are likely to be disappointed!
Food at The Coral Executive Lounge Bangkok Domestic Terminal
The food selection was one of the strongest aspects of our visit, particularly considering this is a domestic airport lounge. There was a sizeable combination of hot and cold food available throughout the morning, with enough variety for either a light breakfast or a more substantial early lunch.
During our visit, the selection included:
- Cereals including cornflakes and Shredded Wheat
- Chicken and cheese sandwiches, bread rolls, sliced bread and croissants
- Fresh fruit, fruit salad and refrigerated salad items
- Yoghurt, Thai tea pudding, doughnuts and chocolate mousse
- Tomato pasta, steamed vegetables and stir-fry
- Chicken tikka masala with rice, chicken and rice, and soup of the day
For a relatively small domestic lounge, this was an impressive amount of choice. The dishes we tried were tasty, and there was more than enough available to put together a substantial breakfast or early lunch before a flight.
Drinks
The drinks selection was also reasonably strong for a domestic lounge, with a combination of self-service soft drinks and alcoholic drinks served from a staffed bar. The complimentary cocktail menu was particularly impressive and helped the lounge stand out from many other domestic lounges.
Drinks available during our visit included:
- Chang beer
- One basic red wine and one white wine
- A limited selection of spirits
- Complimentary cocktails made to order
- Coffee from a self-service coffee machine
- Soft drinks from a drinks fountain
- Apple, cranberry and orange juice
- Spa water
We ordered a latte from the coffee machine, which was perfectly reasonable. Staff were also happy to prepare cocktails at no additional cost, although at 8AM it was slightly too early for us to take advantage of them during this visit!
We also particularly liked the small cups available in the lounge, which were a nice touch and fitted the overall design.
Complimentary Massage, Wi-Fi and Facilities
Perhaps the most unusual feature at The Coral Executive Lounge is the complimentary 15-minute shoulder massage, which is included for lounge guests. This is a valuable additional perk compared with many other pay-to-enter lounges, although we did not have enough time to try it during our visit.
The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and straightforward to connect to. However, charging points were surprisingly difficult to find, which is inconvenient for passengers wanting to recharge phones, laptops or other devices before a flight.
The biggest drawback was the lack of toilets inside the lounge, meaning guests have to leave and use the terminal bathrooms before re-entering. Given the lounge’s relatively small size, this is understandable, but more charging ports and internal toilets would noticeably improve the experience.
Staff and Service at The Coral Executive Lounge Bangkok Domestic Terminal
Staff were consistently friendly throughout our visit.
The reception team were smiley and efficient, with check-in completed almost immediately after scanning our Priority Pass cards and boarding passes. Service inside the lounge was similarly attentive. Bar staff were approachable, while used plates and glasses were cleared efficiently from tables.
This helped keep the relatively small seating area clean and organised as more passengers entered.

Its biggest strengths are the extensive food selection, friendly staff, bright interior and attractive greenery. The complimentary 15-minute shoulder massage and made-to-order cocktails are also unusual perks for a domestic lounge.
However, the lounge is relatively small, with tightly arranged seating, limited charging points and no internal toilets. Despite these drawbacks, it offers a comfortable and surprisingly well-equipped pre-flight experience.
