The Marhaba Lounge Singapore Airport Terminal 3 is a 24-hour contract lounge located airside on Level 3 of the departures area, opposite Singapore Food Street. During this visit, the lounge offered plenty of useful facilities including complimentary showers, fast Wi-Fi, numerous charging ports and a substantial self-service buffet. However, despite being relatively large, its long and narrow layout made parts of the lounge feel cramped, while the drinks selection was fairly limited. The lounge is also undergoing refurbishment work, which should hopefully improve some of the more dated areas.

Check-In Experience
The check-in experience was very positive, as there was no queue when we arrived at the lounge. Staff at reception were welcoming, and after scanning our Priority Pass and boarding passes, we were checked into the lounge within a matter of minutes.

Seating and Atmosphere
The first thing to note is that the Marhaba Lounge is actually fairly large. However, its long and narrow layout means it does not necessarily feel particularly spacious. Some sections felt quite boxed in and cramped despite the overall size of the lounge. The main seats were also slightly hard and were not particularly comfortable for spending several hours in. Fortunately, we found another quieter seating area with leather armchairs which were noticeably more comfortable. There were also plenty of charging ports available around these seats.
Adjacent to the armchair section was a row of high stools alongside workbenches, again with plenty of charging points. This was a useful option for passengers wanting to work on a laptop before their flight. There is also a smaller café-style seating section next to the buffet. The restaurant-style area was busy during our visit, and because of the lounge’s narrow layout, it does not take a huge number of passengers for this section to begin feeling crowded.
Away from the buffet and dining area, however, we found plenty of quieter armchairs where passengers could relax before their flight, so overall the atmosphere remained fairly calm. The lounge does feel slightly dated in places, although refurbishment work was taking place during our visit while the lounge remained open.
Views and Natural Light at the Marhaba Lounge Singapore Airport Terminal 3
One of the stronger aspects of the Marhaba Lounge Singapore Airport Terminal 3 is the amount of natural light. Large floor-to-ceiling windows run alongside parts of the lounge, helping the interior feel brighter and more airy than the narrow layout might otherwise suggest.
Large window shades did partially obstruct the aircraft views, although there were still opportunities to watch activity outside. Further along the lounge, we found additional high stools and workstation-style seating facing directly towards the tarmac. From here, we had a view of a Singapore Airlines aircraft parked outside, which was great for plane nerds like ourselves!

Food is served from a self-service buffet, with a decent variety of hot dishes, sandwiches, snacks, fruit and desserts available during our visit.

- Pesto panini sandwiches
- Egg mayonnaise sandwiches on white bread
- Small salad bar with lettuce, tomatoes and croutons
- Fresh apples
- Fresh oranges
- Bread with a toaster
Snacks and Desserts
- Chocolate cake
- Red velvet cake
- Raspberry Danish pastries
- Crisps
- Nuts
- Sweets
The food did not feel particularly premium, but everything we tried tasted enjoyable and there was enough variety to put together a substantial meal.
For a contract lounge, the buffet was actually one of the stronger aspects of the visit and considerably more impressive than the drinks selection.
Drinks at the Marhaba Lounge Singapore Airport Terminal 3
The drinks are also entirely self-service.

The wine was pretty standard and the overall alcohol range was fairly limited. However, the spirits were at least recognised brands rather than cheaper alternatives.
There was no Champagne, no Prosecco and no staffed bar.
Soft Drinks
A refrigerator was stocked with:

- Coke Zero
- Sprite
- Schweppes tonic water
There were also:
- Large juice dispensers
- Water dispensers
- Self-service coffee machine
- Decent tea selection
The non-alcoholic selection covered the basics well, but the alcoholic drinks offering was nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, the food was considerably stronger than the drinks.
Workstations, Wi-Fi and Facilities
The Marhaba Lounge Singapore Airport Terminal 3 works reasonably well for passengers needing to get some work done before a flight.
Several areas feature high stools and workbenches, with plenty of charging ports available. Additional workstation-style seating faces towards the tarmac and also has convenient access to charging points. A flight departure board was available inside the lounge, while magazines were also provided for passengers to help themselves to. Furthermore, Wi-Fi was fast and straightforward to connect to throughout our visit.
A real highlight from this lounge was the complimentary shower facilities. The showers were clean and well maintained, making them a valuable addition for passengers connecting through Singapore after a long-haul flight.
There is no smoking room inside the lounge, although a smoking area is located a short walk away in the terminal.
Staff and Service
Staff were friendly throughout our visit. The staff at reception were smiley and welcoming, whilst staff inside the lounge did a solid job in keeping the toilets clean and regularly clearing away used plates.

The Marhaba Lounge is worth visiting if you have lounge access and want somewhere to eat, work, shower or relax before your flight.
Its biggest strengths are its 24-hour opening hours, substantial food selection, fast Wi-Fi, abundance of charging ports and clean complimentary shower facilities. The floor-to-ceiling windows also provide plenty of natural light, while some seating positions offer views across the tarmac.
The lounge does have its weaknesses though. Its long and narrow design can make it feel surprisingly cramped, some of the seating is not particularly comfortable and the alcohol selection is underwhelming. The interior also feels slightly dated, although refurbishment work was underway during our visit.
Overall, the food is stronger than the drinks offering, while the showers, Wi-Fi and charging facilities make this a useful lounge for passengers connecting through Changi Airport.
