Check-In Experience
Entry was quick and simple. Staff were welcoming and I was checked in without delay.
Seating and Atmosphere
The lounge felt large and spacious with plenty of seating options available during my visit. There were rows of cream-white sofas which created a relaxed and stylish setting. Unfortunately, there was no natural light as the glass windows faced the concourse.

Food and Drinks
Food was limited to a cold spread, but what was available was well presented. A selection of fresh sandwiches, cheeses, cold pasta, cold frittatas and fruit were on offer. While the quality was decent, the lack of hot food meant the buffet felt a little underwhelming and left me slightly hungry.
Several Spanish red and white wines were available alongside a sparkling cava. There was also a range of soft drinks and mineral water available, all of which were in the self-serve format. I could not find any spirits in the lounge during my visit.

Wi-Fi and Amenities
Wi-Fi worked smoothly and at a good speed. Whilst there were no shower facilities, there was a dedicated work area and conference room which were available for business travellers. Departure boards inside the lounge made it easy to keep track of flight status without needing to leave. There were plenty of charging ports, available at pretty much every seat which is always nice to see at an airport lounge.

Pros and cons
Pros:
- Plenty of seating and a modern lounge design.
- Useful business facilities with work area, conference room and lots of charging ports.
Cons:
- Food selection limited to cold items.
- Lack of natural light and views.
- Staff were really slow to clear empty plates and glasses.
Final verdict: Is Sala VIP Costa Blanca Lounge Alicante worth visiting?
The Sala VIP Costa Blanca Lounge Alicante is a pleasant space to spend time before a flight due to its modern design and comfortable seating. However, the lack of hot food options and the limited drinks selection is a clear weakness. Still, if you are looking for a calm and spacious lounge to chill or get some work done, then this is a reasonable option.
