Prima Vista Lounge Cagliari Date of Visit: September 2025 (Last Updated June 2026)
Time: Late Morning (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Prima Vista Lounge Cagliari is the only airport lounge at Cagliari Elmas Airport (CAG), and it is a handy place to escape the terminal before a flight. I visited in September 2025 to test the seating, WiFi, drinks and food, plus whether it is worth using a Priority Pass visit or paying for entry.

Ambiance and Seating at the Prima Vista Lounge Cagliari
Firstly, the lounge had a similar decor to some of the Milan airport lounge reviews that I did, such as the Montale Exclusive Lounge (MXP) and the HelloSky Lounge (BGY) lounges. The Prima Vista lounge at Cagliari Airport is reasonably small at 250 square meters. The Prima Vista Lounge is fitted with comfortable leather sofas and armchairs with a corresponding large and comfortable coffee table, should one also want to use a computer or simply use it as a tabletop for plates or glasses. In addition to the lounge seating, a business area features high stools for those who want to keep working during their break. This area includes several power outlets to accommodate various devices. The lounge also offers a smoking area, where several Italians enjoyed their morning coffee.
Although the lounge feels modern, the lack of runway views and natural light makes it feel a bit boxed in.
Lounge Pair – No membership needed. Pre-book the Prima Vista Lounge for £24 (€27) per person. After clicking, search for the airport to check availability and book your lounge spot.

Food and Drinks at Prima Vista Lounge Cagliari
The food and beverage selection was underwhelming for a mid-morning visit:
- Hot items: The lounge did not offer any hot breakfast or brunch options, so guests relied on cold food.
- Cold items: Fresh, tasty pre-packaged sandwiches included Tuna, Ham, and Chicken Club varieties. There was also a small selection of pastries and fruit, though I was already full from the sandwiches. It was a minor disappointment that paninis were unavailable.
- Drinks: A self-serve coffee machine provided an excellent Americano, as you’d expect in an Italian lounge. The juice selection included ACE, a refreshing mix of orange, lemon, and carrot juice. If you visit Sardinia, I recommend picking up an ACE juice in the supermarket, as they are delicious and hard to find elsewhere in Italy. While the food options were limited, the alcohol selection impressed me. The Sardinian beer Ichnusa, which is a personal favorite of mine, was well stocked. The Spritz making station also added a fun touch. If I had visited later in the day, I might have indulged more in this area.

Wi-Fi and Amenities
The Wi-Fi performed fast and reliably, so I had no trouble working. Power outlets spread throughout the lounge worked perfectly. The toilets were spotless and stocked with high-end soap, giving a luxury hotel vibe.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Great self-serve bar, including a Spritz making stand, a decent Italian Wine selection and various spirits.
- Reliable Wi-Fi, great coffee and immaculately kept toilets.
Cons
- Limited food options with no hot food available.
- No tarmac views with the bare walls making the lounge feel a little enclosed.
Final Verdict: Is The Prima Vista Lounge Cagliari Worth It?
The Prima Vista Lounge Cagliari provides a bright and modern space. If you need to work and fancy a couple of decent coffees, then it would be worth a visit, especially as the lounge was very quiet when we were there. Equally, if you’re susceptible to a couple of pre-flight tipples, then this lounge will have you covered, and it would easily justify the very reasonable £24 entry fee. If you’re looking for more substantial hot food, then it’s probably best to find something in the main terminal. There was a very similar conclusion at the Angelo D’Arrigo Lounge Catania lounge. That lounge review can be found here.
