The Aspire Executive Lounge Venice Airport is a small landside airport lounge at Venice Marco Polo Airport, located before security on floor 2. This is unusual for an airport lounge, as most lounges are located airside after security. While this can be useful if you arrive very early, it also means you still need to leave enough time to clear security after your visit.
During this afternoon visit, the lounge was completely empty. We arrived around five hours before departure, even though access is usually permitted up to three hours before your flight. Staff did not seem bothered by this and politely allowed us in.
Overall, the lounge felt more like a quiet private waiting room than a full airport lounge. The staff were polite, the lounge was peaceful, the toilets were clean and the drinks selection was better than expected. However, the lounge was very small, fairly dark, had no hot food and the landside location is a clear drawback.

Seating and Comfort
The Aspire Executive Lounge Venice Airport is tiny, with only a small number of seats. There were a few red armchairs with tables, some high-stool workstation seating and several large egg-chair style armchairs.
There was no café-style seating, and the lounge did not feel like a space designed for a long meal or a social visit. It felt more like a small private waiting room.
There were charging ports at the high-stool workstations, as well as charging points around the walls. This made the lounge useful if you needed to charge a phone, tablet or laptop before your flight.
There was also a live departures screen, which was useful, especially because the lounge is located before security.
Because the lounge was empty, it was peaceful and fairly relaxing. However, the small size, dark feel, lack of natural light and limited views made it less comfortable than many airside lounges.
Food at The Aspire Executive Lounge Venice Airport
Food at lounge was served from a small self-serve buffet. Some of the items were tasty, but the overall spread was basic.
There was a selection of bread, including focaccia, along with a mixed cheese and cured meats platter. The cured meats included salami and prosciutto, and these were some of the better items on offer.
There was also pesto salad, another mixed salad, cherry tomatoes with mozzarella, croissants, pancakes and fresh fruit, including apples and oranges.
I also liked that olive oil and balsamic vinegar were available, as these worked well with the bread, tomatoes, mozzarella and cured meats.
However, there was no hot food at all. This made the food feel more like a snack selection than a full meal. The meats, cheeses, focaccia and salads were pleasant, but you should not arrive hungry expecting lunch or dinner.
Staff kept the buffet area immaculate throughout the visit, which was a clear positive.
Drinks at The Aspire Executive Lounge Venice Airport
The drinks selection was better than the food offering. There was a self-serve coffee machine, and the Americano I had was very nice for a machine coffee.
There were also three fresh juices, cans of Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite and Fanta. A water machine was also available.
For alcoholic drinks, there were bottled beers including Peroni, red and white wine, and proper wine glasses. There was also Aperol and Campari available with Prosecco, so you could make an Aperol Spritz or Campari Spritz.
For such a small lounge, this was a decent drinks selection. The Prosecco, Aperol, Campari, Peroni, wine, soft drinks, juices and coffee gave the lounge more variety than expected.
Wi-Fi, Charging and Facilities
There were charging ports at the high-stool workstations, as well as charging points around the walls. This was useful, especially in such a small lounge where seating options were limited.
There was also a live departures screen inside the lounge, which helped make the landside location easier to manage.
The toilets were located inside the lounge and were clean and well maintained during our visit.
The lounge was silent throughout our stay. This made it peaceful, but also slightly strange, as there was very little atmosphere. If you want a very quiet space before your flight, this could work well. If you prefer a livelier lounge, this may feel too empty.

The Aspire Executive Lounge Venice Airport is worth considering if you arrive early at Venice Airport and want a quiet landside space before security with snacks, drinks, charging points and clean toilets.
The staff were polite, the lounge was peaceful and the buffet area was kept spotless throughout the visit. The cold meats, cheeses, focaccia, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, Prosecco, Aperol, Campari and Peroni were the highlights.
However, this is not one of the stronger airport lounges. The space is tiny, dark, and feels more like a small private waiting room than a full lounge. There was no hot food, no runway view, limited natural light and the landside location means you still need to leave time for security after your visit.
Overall, The Aspire Executive Lounge Venice Airport is useful if you want somewhere quiet before security, but it is not a lounge I would go out of my way to book unless the price was low or I had a long wait before check-in or security.
