HelloSky Lounge, Milan Bergamo Airport (Evening Visit)
HelloSky Lounge Milan Bergamo Date of Visit: [January 2025]
Time: Evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
HelloSky Lounge Milan Bergamo Location and Access
HelloSky Lounge Milan Bergamo offers a comfortable and modern space for travelers to relax before their flights. Located past gate A15 near Eataly, this lounge provides a pleasant atmosphere with good food, self-serve drinks, and convenient amenities for an evening visit. Open from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, the lounge is accessible through Priority Pass, DragonPass, or a standard entry fee of €22 for those without memberships. The airport itself is larger than I expected, as this is Ryanair’s largest base in Italy, but the lounge was easy enough to find. We arrived at this lounge after a fantastic weekend in Milan on a budget, the details of which can be found here.
Check-In Experience
The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff member at the counter was friendly and checked me in quickly. She noted that we could help ourselves to any of the food and drink at no extra charge, and gave us directions to the bathrooms.
Ambiance & Seating
The HelloSky Lounge offers a pleasant, modern atmosphere with a mix of seating arrangements. Comfortable armchairs and small, clean tables create a relaxed environment for travellers. There were also some excellent chairs with foot stools, which were so comfy we saw one of the passengers having a cheeky nap on them! There was a lot of art dotted around the lounge, with descriptions of each painting. This gave a really unique Italian feel to the lounge and felt like I was in a posh Milan residence. The windows were large, although only provided a view of the departures seating area below.

Food and Drink Options at HelloSky Lounge Milan Bergamo
The food selection was above average for a lounge of this size and price range:
• Hot items: There was a decent variety, including a small selection of pasta dishes, sausages with potato wedges and freshly prepared frittatas. The hot food was freshly replenished and individually plated into small bowls. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious and very much felt in line with the excellent Italian cuisine standards!
• Cold items: Fresh salads, sandwiches, and fruit were available, all of which were fairly appetizing. The sandwiches were simple but satisfying, and the salads were a good, healthy option. There could have been tomatoes on offer, and the absence of olive oil and vinegar was a little disappointing, although this is me being very picky!
• Drinks: The lounge offered a range of soft drinks, juices, and hot beverages. I liked the fact that the soft drinks, including my favourite Lemon Soda, were all in glass bottles. A coffee machine was available, and the coffee was decent for an airport lounge. The lounge had a self-serve liquor cart stand, with Bombay Saphire Gin, Gordon’s gin, Martini, Vodka Rum and Prosecco on offer. There were 3 different bottles of red and white wine, as well as several bottled beers on offer, including my favourite, Ichnusa, which is a lager from Sardinia. Overall the selection was excellent, and all self-serve which made a nice change to most UK lounges. Sadly no Aperol was on offer though!

Amenities and Wi-Fi at HelloSky Lounge Milan Bergamo
The Wi-Fi connection was reliable fast, making it easy to catch up on work or browse online. Power outlets were only available at work stations, meaning I had to use my portable charger whilst in the lounge. The lounge had both a conference room and a smoking room, both were unused when we were there, but added to the space’s amenities. The lounge was generally well-maintained, and the bathrooms were clean and stocked.
Pros:
• Comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere, with nice touches such as the Italian artwork filling the walls.
• A good variety of food and self-serve drink options.
• Clean facilities, with proactive staff constantly clearing the tables.
Cons:
• The windows overlooked the main departure area, so the lack of runway views meant there was no natural light.
• There was an absence of power outlets at lots of seats.
Final Thoughts
The HelloSky Lounge at Milan Bergamo is a solid choice for those looking to relax before their flight. The tasty food options, self-serve drink offerings, combined with the comfortable seating and quiet atmosphere, make it a pleasant experience overall. It is just the absence of natural light and airport views that hold back The Airport Lounge Bro Rating.
