First Impressions and Ambiance at the Pearl Lounge Stockholm Arlanda Terminal 5
The first impression of the Pearl Lounge Stockholm Arlanda Terminal 5 was not especially strong. The lounge is quite small and was very busy during this evening visit, which made the whole space feel cramped and a little hectic.
There are tarmac views, which are always a plus, but the windows are fairly small and do not bring in as much light or openness as you would want. This means the lounge lacks the airy feel that better airport lounges often have.
One nice touch was the plant décor, which helped soften the space a little. Even so, the lounge felt more functional than comfortable, and there was not much sense of calm despite the staff doing a reasonable job of clearing plates and keeping things moving.
Seating and Comfort
Seating is fairly limited for the size of the crowd the lounge seems to attract. Most of the seating is café style, with only a few armchairs available. There are not many places to really settle in and relax, especially if the lounge is busy.
One of the biggest downsides is the lack of charging ports. I could not charge my phone, and we also needed to charge a portable charger, so this was frustrating and made the lounge much less practical.
The tables also felt a little dirty, although staff were making a decent effort to clear used plates. Wi-Fi did work well, which was a plus and at least made the lounge usable if you needed to get online before boarding.
The toilets were very basic and were actually quite dirty during this evening visit, which only added to the sense that the lounge was struggling to keep up with demand.

Food and drink at the Pearl Lounge Stockholm Arlanda was very basic.
For this evening visit, the only hot option was soup. Cold options included crisps, nuts, olives, cheese, crackers, bread, butter, and a few salad items such as cherry tomatoes, cucumber, hummus, salad leaves, and gherkins. It all felt more like a light snack selection than anything close to a substantial meal, so I would definitely recommend eating before you visit.
Drinks were also underwhelming. There was a coffee machine, a selection of teas, and a soft drink fountain serving Fanta, Coca-Cola, and Coke Zero.
In terms of alcohol, there was Sleepy Bulldog pale ale on draught and Norrlands Guld beer on draught. Red and white wine were available on tap, which felt cheap and disappointing, and the wine itself was pretty rough. It gave the lounge more of an all inclusive buffet restaurant feel than a premium airport lounge. I did not see any spirits, and I also could not spot any non alcoholic beers.
Overall, the food and drink offering was one of the weakest parts of the experience.

The Pearl Lounge Stockholm Arlanda is a below average airport lounge that feels too small, too busy, and too limited in what it offers. While the staff were polite and friendly, and the Wi-Fi worked well, there were too many issues here to make it a lounge I would look forward to using again.
The lack of charging ports is a major weakness, the seating is limited, and the food and drink selection feels far too basic for anything beyond a quick snack. Add in the cramped atmosphere and dirty toilets during this visit, and the overall experience falls well short of what most travellers would hope for before a flight.
If you have access through Priority Pass and want somewhere to sit away from the main terminal for a short time, it may still be usable. But overall, this is not a lounge I would recommend arriving early for.
