Check-In Experience
The check-in process was smooth and welcoming at the HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge. The staff member at the counter was friendly and checked me in quickly. She noted that we could help ourselves to any of the food and drink at no extra charge, and gave us directions to the bathrooms.
Seating and Atmosphere at HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge
The HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge offers a pleasant, modern atmosphere with a mix of seating arrangements. Comfortable armchairs and small, clean tables create a relaxed environment for travellers. Additionally, there were some excellent chairs with foot stools, which were so comfy that we even saw one of the passengers taking a cheeky nap on them. Furthermore, the lounge featured a lot of art dotted around, each accompanied by descriptions. This combination gave the space a really unique Italian feel and made me feel as if I were in a posh Milan residence. Although the windows were large, they only provided a view of the departures seating area below.

Food and Drink Options at the HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge
The food selection was above average for a lounge of this size and price range:
Hot items: There was a decent variety, including a small selection of pasta dishes, sausages with potato wedges and freshly prepared frittatas. The hot food was freshly replenished and individually plated into small bowls. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious and very much felt in line with the excellent Italian cuisine standards!
Cold items: Fresh salads, sandwiches, and fruit were available, all of which were fairly appetizing. The sandwiches were simple but satisfying, and the salads were a good, healthy option. There could have been tomatoes on offer, and the absence of olive oil and vinegar was a little disappointing, although this is me being very picky!
Drinks: The lounge offered a range of soft drinks, juices, and hot beverages. We liked the fact that the soft drinks, including my favourite Lemon Soda, were all in glass bottles. A coffee machine was available, and the coffee was decent for an airport lounge. The lounge had a self-serve liquor cart stand, with Bombay Sapphire Gin, Gordon’s gin, Martini, vodka, rum and Prosecco on offer. There were three different bottles of red and white wine, as well as several bottled beers on offer. Our favourite beer, Ichnusa, was also on offer which is a lager from Sardinia. Overall the selection was excellent, and all self-serve which made a nice change to most UK lounges. Sadly no Aperol was on offer though!
Lounge Pass – No membership needed. Pre-book the HelloSky Lounge for £23 per person. After clicking, search for the airport to check availability and book your lounge spot.

Amenities and Wi-Fi at the HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge
The Wi-Fi connection at the HelloSky Lounge Milan Bergamo Airport was reliable and fast, making it easy to catch up on work or browse online. Power outlets were only available at work stations, meaning I had to use my portable charger whilst in the lounge. The lounge had both a conference room and a smoking room, which added to the space’s amenities. The lounge was generally well-maintained, and the bathrooms were clean and stocked.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere. This included nice touches such as the Italian artwork filling the walls.
- A good variety of food and self-serve drink options.
- Clean facilities, with proactive staff constantly clearing the tables.
Cons
- The windows overlooked the main departure area. The lack of runway views meant there was no natural light.
- There was an absence of power outlets at lots of seats.
Is The HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge Worth Visiting?
The HelloSky Milan Bergamo Lounge is worth visiting if you have Priority Pass or paid access and want a calmer space with strong food, self-serve drinks and comfortable seating before your flight from Milan Bergamo Airport.
The biggest strengths are the hot food, Italian feel, self-serve drinks setup, Prosecco, bottled beer and relaxed atmosphere. For a lounge at this price point, the food and drinks were better than expected.
However, the lounge does not have runway views, natural light is limited and power sockets are mainly available at the workstations. Overall, it is a solid choice at BGY if you value food and drinks more than views.
