Sala Guacimeta Lounge Lanzarote Airport is a modern contract lounge at César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport (ACE), ideal if you want a quieter space, a proper cold spread, and a drink before your flight. I visited during a mid morning stay and found a clean, modern lounge with a standout stone wall feature, plenty of cafe style seating, and a surprisingly good outdoor terrace that is perfect in Lanzarote’s year round sun. The downside is the limited hot food and the fact it can feel busy, with charging ports mainly limited to the armchair seats. Overall, this is a solid lounge for a short pre flight stop, particularly if you enjoy tapas style food.

First Impressions, Seating and Atmosphere
Sala Guacimeta Lounge made a strong first impression. It is a reasonable size at around 190 square metres, and it felt clean, modern, and well maintained throughout my visit. The design is simple but effective, with one stone wall feature running along one side of the lounge that gives it a bit of character and makes it feel less like a standard contract lounge.
Seating is mostly cafe style tables and chairs, with a smaller armchair section along the side. There were charging ports next to the armchair seats, which is great in principle, but there were not many armchairs. The lounge was fairly busy and the armchair seats were clearly the most popular, so extra armchair seating would have added to the comfort.
A nice touch is the presence of indoor plants dotted around the lounge, which helps the space feel a bit more natural. There were also departure boards showing live flight information inside the lounge, which is genuinely useful, especially when the lounge is busy and you want to keep an eye on boarding updates without leaving your seat.
Outdoor terrace
The highlight for me was the outdoor terrace area. The runway views are quite limited, but it is still a brilliant feature for an airport lounge, especially in Lanzarote where you can often count on sunshine. It is exactly the sort of space you want before a flight, grab a drink, get some fresh air, and sit outside for a while rather than staying indoors the whole time.
Food and Drinks at the Sala Guacimeta Lounge Lanzarote Airport
Food at Sala Guacimeta Lounge is mostly cold and tapas focused, which is very typical of Spanish contract lounges. If you are expecting a big hot buffet, you will be disappointed. In terms of hot food, the only option I could spot during my visit was french fries.
That said, the cold selection was genuinely impressive and very tasty. The tapas spread included Spanish cured meats, hams, cheeses, salamis, a solid variety of salads, and a chickpea salad option. There was also an extensive fresh fruit selection with apples, bananas, kiwis, plums, oranges, and pears, which felt a step above the usual basic fruit bowl you see in many lounges. Snacks like nuts, crisps, sweets, and a selection of cakes were also available.
One standout item was the Spanish tortilla, which was notably delicious and easily the best thing I tried from the food setup. If you enjoy a tapas style pre flight meal, you can definitely put together a proper plate here, even without hot mains.
Drinks were a strong point. The bar area is self-serve and had a large collection of spirits, several white wines, red wines, and cava. Beer options included Heineken and Tropical, plus a 0.0 Tropical option which is a nice touch. I could not find Champagne, and I also could not see cider, but that is not unusual in Spain, and overall the drinks offering was still very impressive for a contract lounge.
Soft drinks were abundant and were stocked in self-serve fridges in glass bottles, which feels a bit more premium than the standard soft drink fountain setup. There were coffee machines but I didn’t try the coffee on this occasion.
Toilets and facilities at the Sala Guacimeta Lounge Lanzarote Airport
Toilet facilities were clean and well maintained during my visit. The lounge also worked well as a place to wait for boarding thanks to the internal departure boards and the overall calm atmosphere, even when it was busy.
Charging is available next to the armchair seats along the side of the lounge, but the limitation is that you may struggle to access power if those seats are taken. If you plan to work or charge multiple devices, it is worth arriving early to grab an armchair spot.

Sala Guacimeta Lounge Lanzarote Airport is a solid contract lounge that does the basics well, with a clean modern space, a strong cold tapas spread, and a drinks selection that exceeds expectations. The outdoor terrace is the standout feature and makes this lounge particularly enjoyable compared to many similar Spanish airport lounges.
If you want hot food, this is not the place, and if you need guaranteed charging access then you will want to arrive early to secure an armchair seat. But for a relaxed pre-flight stop with good tapas and a drink, this lounge is well worth using.
