The Airlines Executive Lounge at Barbados Grantley Adams International Airport is located airside, after Security, next to Gate 12.

Check-In Experience
Check-in was easy and swift. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, and we were allowed straight in without any delay.
Unfortunately, the overall experience took a downturn from this point onwards.
Ambiance and Seating
This lounge feels very basic, and it quickly became uncomfortable.
Seating is made up mostly of sofas and chairs, but they are crammed in tightly which made the space feel claustrophobic. Despite the lounge having some windows, most had shutters closed, presumably to help keep the space cool.
The bigger issue is that there was no air conditioning. The lounge felt very stuffy and warm, and the lack of airflow made it hard to properly relax.
To be fair, the staff did a good job of clearing plates and keeping the lounge looking clean despite the heat and the cramped seating layout.
Food and Drinks at the Airlines Executive Lounge Barbados
All food and drinks were in a self-serve format.
The drinks selection was actually pretty good, with a range of soft drinks, spirits, and a couple of wines available. However, there was no champagne or sparkling wine on offer.
Food was basic and nothing to write home about. Options included:
• Nuts and crisps
• Biscuits
• Cake, which was dry
• Baguette sandwiches
• Pea soup, which was actually pretty tasty
• A vegetable and stir fry pasta dish which looked a little anaemic, although it was at least a hot food option
Wi-Fi and Amenities at the Airlines Executive Lounge Barbados
Amenities were limited at this lounge. There were not many charging ports, so this was not great if you were looking to charge devices before your flight.
Wi-Fi did not work well and was slow throughout my visit.

The Airlines Executive Lounge at Barbados is a very basic lounge.
The space feels cramped and basic, and the lack of air conditioning makes the lounge uncomfortably warm and stuffy. The food is forgettable, and the Wi-Fi is too slow to rely on.
If you are mainly looking for a few drinks before your flight, you will probably be satisfied, especially as the entry fee is a very reasonable £23 ($30 USD) per person. However, as an overall lounge experience, this is one I would happily skip if given the choice.
