Getting There
We travelled with Ryanair from London Stansted, paying £60 return each. Our flight landed at around 11pm on the Friday night which actually worked perfectly. Seville Airport is very close to the city and the easiest way to reach the centre is by taxi. The twenty minute journey cost only €20 and dropped us right at our accommodation.
We flew home at 8pm on Monday evening which gave us nearly three full days to enjoy Seville.

Where We Stayed: Hotel Lobby Sevilla
Our base for the weekend was Hotel Lobby Sevilla, a stylish, design focused stay right on the river. The location was ideal for a long weekend because we could walk to the Cathedral, the historic centre and Triana without needing public transport.
The real highlight is the rooftop. The infinity pool and the Ático rooftop bar have incredible river views, and it is the perfect spot for golden hour before dinner. We spent one evening up here with a glass of Spanish white wine as the sun dropped over the water, and it ended up being one of the standout moments of the trip.
Our room was modern, spotless and genuinely comfortable after late flights. If you are a light sleeper, it is worth requesting a quieter room, as the area can stay lively in the evenings.

Day One: Luxury 3 day Seville itinerary
We started our first morning at Jester Cafe which is a bright modern spot a short walk from our accommodation near Plaza de la Encarnacion. Jester serves fresh pastries, smoothies, acai bowls and milkshakes. You MUST order the warm cinnamon roll with sweet cream it was delicious.
After breakfast we walked across to Seville Cathedral. This is one of the world’s largest churches and an incredible sight up close. The surrounding square is filled with tapas bars and small terraces which make it a great place to sit and enjoy a drink in the sun.
In the afternoon we went over the river to Mercado de Triana. This is a large indoor food market with excellent tapas counters, Spanish cured meats, fresh fruit, and local produce. It is one of the best places to try classic Andalusian flavours in a lively setting. Prices were also really reasonable here.
Day Two: Luxury 3 day Seville itinerary
On Sunday morning we visited Maria Luisa Park. It is a pretty place with tiled fountains and shaded paths although it is smaller than you might expect so you only need a couple of hours. From there we continued down to the river for a relaxed walk beneath the orange trees that line almost every street. They bring so much colour to the city and make even a simple stroll feel memorable.
The rest of the day was spent doing what Seville does best which is eating and drinking. While the city does have a few major landmarks, its real appeal is in the bars, the terraces, and the gentle pace of life.
Where to Eat in Seville
For a more polished Saturday dinner, head to El Pan Nuestro. This restaurant offers a sophisticated twist on classic Andalusian dishes.
The best tapas bar of the whole trip was Bodega Diaz Salazar which quickly became my favourite place in Seville. It opened in 1908 and serves traditional tapas with generous portions and very reasonable prices. The house wine was excellent and the atmosphere felt authentic and lively.
Another great stop is Agustin and Company Bar which has a small outdoor seating area and a strong menu. Cerveceria Alborea is also worth visiting and is always busy thanks to its sunny terrace and consistently good tapas.
Day Three: Luxury 3 day Seville itinerary
For your final day in Seville, spend the morning enjoying a slower pace as you explore the centre one last time. This is when we visited Maria Limones Ice Cream. It is a lovely place with high quality gelato and was perfect for a relaxed Monday afternoon treat.
Two of the best bars for views are right on the river. Mariatrifulca has a beautiful setting above the water and is perfect for golden hour. My favourite bar by far was Ático, the rooftop bar at Hotel Lobby Sevilla. Between the infinity pool, the river views and the relaxed atmosphere, it is hard to beat for sunset.

Seville is a wonderful city for a long weekend. You can spend your days wandering between tree lined squares, riverside walkways and lively tapas bars with no real need for a schedule.
