During this afternoon visit, the lounge was one of the most visually impressive contract lounges we have visited in Europe, with three floors, a huge glass dome, panoramic windows, palm trees, runway views and a rare outdoor terrace. The main drawbacks were the average hot food, extra charge for showers and the fact that drinks were not allowed outside on the terrace.

The EuroAirport Skyview Lounge Basel is located airside in the centre of the terminal, next to the Duty Free shop on the departures level. The lounge is easy to find once you are through security and is one of the main lounge options at EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse.
The lounge is open daily from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, although opening times can change, so it is worth checking before travelling.

Seating, Glass Dome And Outdoor Terrace
The EuroAirport Skyview Lounge Basel is a truly impressive space. Measuring around 1700 square metres and spread over three floors, it felt expansive and modern. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, combined with a see-through ceiling dome, allowed natural light to flood the space. The futuristic design, accented by palm trees and even a small pond water feature with a bridge, gave the lounge a unique character.
There were many different seating options to choose from: comfy armchairs, café-style seats, office-style desks, and recliner chairs facing the runway. The variety meant you could easily pick a spot to relax, work, or watch planes. Large conference rooms were available to pre-book for an additional charge, and showers were also offered at a surcharge.
The standout feature for me was the large outdoor terrace. It offered fresh air, panoramic views, and outdoor seating. Although drinks were not allowed outside, it was still a highlight and added something special to the lounge.

Food and drinks at the EuroAirport Skyview Lounge Basel were offered in a self-serve format. The drinks selection was stronger than the food, with bottled soft drinks, juices, wines, spirits, draught beer, sparkling wine and coffee available.
The food was more mixed. Cold options included salads, sandwiches, soup, fresh fruit and pastries, while the hot food was limited to beef stew and penne pasta during this visit. The buffet was perfectly usable for a snack, but it was not the strongest part of the lounge.

Wi-Fi, Showers and Facilities at the EuroAirport Skyview Lounge Basel
The Wi-Fi worked without issue, making it easy to stay connected. Toilets were clean and well maintained. The addition of showers (at an extra cost) and conference rooms gave the lounge a business-friendly edge. There were also separate work desks with a printer. Beyond that, the star attractions were the natural light, unique design, and outdoor terrace.

The EuroAirport Skyview Lounge Basel is worth visiting if you have Priority Pass or lounge access and want a spacious, visually impressive lounge with natural light, runway views and a rare outdoor terrace. The huge glass dome, three-floor layout, palm trees and panoramic windows make it one of the more memorable contract lounges in Europe.
However, the food is only average. The cold buffet was fine, but the hot options were limited and not especially memorable. Showers and conference rooms also cost extra, and drinks were not allowed on the outdoor terrace.
Overall, the EuroAirport Skyview Lounge Basel is strongest for design, space, views and atmosphere. It is worth using with Priority Pass and can justify paid entry if you value the terrace and setting, but it is less impressive if you mainly want a strong meal before your flight.
