Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen Date of Visit: October 2025 (Last updated February 2026)
Time: Afternoon (2:00 PM – 4:30 PM)
Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen Airport is a pay per use contract lounge at CPH in Terminal 2, and it is also accessible with lounge programmes such as Priority Pass, subject to capacity. I visited in October 2025 and found a busy lounge with limited natural light, a cold Scandinavian buffet, fast WiFi and the standout feature, four self pour Carlsberg beers on tap. This review covers where to find it, what is included, and whether it is worth using a lounge visit or paying to enter.
Location and Access Options
The Carlsberg Aviator Lounge sits airside at Copenhagen Airport Terminal 2, just after security on the right-hand side, positioned between Pier A and Pier B. Opening hours are from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM daily, except on Saturdays when it closes early at 8:00 PM. Guests can stay for up to 3 hours. Children under 2 enter free.

Check-In Experience
Check-in was far from straightforward. The lounge was temporarily closed to lounge card holders as the capacity was reached (only business class ticket holders invited by their airline were allowed to enter). We therefore had to wait for over half an hour just to get in. Once we entered, we found a busy lounge, although we did manage to find a couple of seats in the corner.
Tip: if you are relying on Priority Pass at peak times, have a backup plan because access can be paused when the lounge is full.

Ambiance and Seating
The Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen has a clean Scandinavian style, with lots of warm wooden finishes on both the floors and walls. Natural light was sadly scarce as the windows overlooked the terminal concourse. Seating included armchairs, café-style tables, and high-top counters near the windows. The layout worked well for both solo travellers and small groups. While the space was busy, the abundance of plants, the sleek décor and the cool Carlsberg branding made the space feel warm and welcoming.

Food and Drink At The Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen
The food offering leaned heavily towards cold dishes and Scandinavian flavours. There were no hot items available, which may disappoint those looking for a hot meal before their flight.
Cold items included: pickled herring, egg mayo salad, hummus, pumpkin spread, capers, brie gherkins, fresh brown bread, Rybe bread, rice crackers and chicken liver pate. This Nordic tapas was tasty, although I did miss a hot food option. Fresh fruit (apples and oranges) was also on offer which was nice for me to take a piece to eat on the go.
The standout feature of this lounge was the beer selection. There were four Carlsberg beers on tap, all self-serve: Carlsberg, Non-Alcoholic Pale Ale, Carlsberg Nordic Ale, and Carlsberg 1883. For a lounge at this price point, this was very impressive.
For wine drinkers, there were 2 bottles of red and white in a self-serve format. There were no spirits.
Soft drinks were available through a touchscreen soda fountain, with options including Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes Lemon, and Schweppes Indian Tonic Water. No soft drinks cans were available. Coffee was made from a self-serve machine. My cappuccino was nothing special but perfectly drinkable.

Wi-Fi and Amenities At Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen
The Wi-Fi worked without issue at the Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen and was fast enough for streaming. A handful of power outlets were scattered around the lounge, though many were in use due to the busier crowd. Bathrooms were small but clean, and the lounge overall was kept tidy by staff circulating frequently to clear tables.
LoungePass – No membership needed. Pre-book the Carlsberg Aviator lounge for £22 per person. After clicking, search for the airport to check availability and book your lounge spot.
Pros and cons
Pros:
• Scandinavian-inspired design with warm wooden accents and excellent Carlsberg branding.
• Four Carlsberg beers on tap, which is rare in an airport lounge.
Cons:
• No hot food available at all.
• The lounge was very busy, to the point where we had to wait half an hour to enter the lounge.
• Lack of natural light and a scarce number of power ports.
Final Verdict: Is the Carlsberg Aviator Lounge Copenhagen Worth It?
The Carlsberg Aviator Lounge in Copenhagen Airport delivers a reasonable lounge experience overall. The food is limited to cold options, but the quality was of a decent standard, and the standout beer taps and self-serve wines added real value.
For £22 on LoungePass or with a Priority Pass membership, this lounge is a very solid choice if you are flying through Copenhagen. If hot food is important, you may be disappointed, but for drinks, light bites, and a comfortable space before your flight, it’s a good value option.
